The injury bug has hit the Flyers yet again, this time in the shape of Michael Raffl missing the next four to six weeks with a lower body injury. He left the game with close to four minutes remaining in the second period after taking this hit from Avalanche defenseman Patrik Nemeth.
It could be a multitude of things, but what we know for sure is that he’ll be out at least a month, and that’s a lot of time. So, who will replace him? The first player that comes to mind is Mikhail Vorobyev, although he has primarily played center and hadn’t been used on the team’s penalty kill through the regular season.
