The Flyers will head into the weekend with some exciting news behind them. Goalie prospect Samuel Ersson has signed his entry level contract, becoming the third member of Philly’s 2018 Draft class to do so.
Ersson is coming off of a second full season in Sweden’s SHL league with Brynas. He posted a 15-25-2 record over 52 games, giving up 2.96 goals per game and registering a .911 save percentage. Ersson’s record was 15-25-2 when all was said and done.
Prior to that, he spent two years with Vasteras IK in the second tier.
