Hey at least Farabee scored

And on the tenth day, the Philadelphia Flyers rested.

Coming off a nine day stretch in which the Flyers picked up seven of ten points against the Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins, and St. Louis Blues, Philly just didn’t have it on the back end of consecutive games.

Returning home to the Wells Fargo Center was not enough to energize the depleted Flyers, who dropped Thursday’s contest to the Montreal Canadiens 4-1. The loss was only their fourth in regulation on home ice this season, but second in less than a week.
