Gritty has been known for his humorous antics since debuting back in September of this year. From shooting an arena employee with a t-shirt cannon to raining down from the rafters of the Wells Fargo Center, it’s clear Gritty will go all out to get a laugh from the fans. This was all too evident during the first intermission of the Philadelphia Flyers game against the Detroit Red Wings.
The furry, orange mascot dressed up as Santa Clause and went around body checking all of the others who were skating on the ice.
