The Philadelphia Flyers are the hottest team in the NHL right now as they’ve won nine straight games. Boston is once again a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference and the entire league. They’re atop the standings with 98 points while the Flyers are sixth with 89 points.
The Flyers are coming off a win against the Buffalo Sabres in which they did not have their best effort. It was a sloppy game throughout, but the they were able to score when it mattered most. And with the streak they’re on right now, even an off game hasn’t been able to stop them.
