The team announced Wednesday evening that 35 players remained in camp. Then yesterday's practice revealed six more roster casualties.
Forwards Tim Brent, Chris Conner and Aaron Palushaj, defenseman Davis Drewiske and goaltender Jason LaBarbera will all hit waivers today. When and if they clear, they'll head to the American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
In addition, defenseman Christian Marti (shoulder surgery) is out until mid-November. The free agent addition this offseason will begin the year on the non-roster/injured list and will eventually be in Lehigh Valley.
