The Philadelphia Flyers continue to add to their organization depth on defense, as they signed defenseman Nick Seeler to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 at the AHL level with $350,000 guaranteed.

Seeler did not play at all during the 2020-21 season after the Chicago Blackhawks placed his contact on unconditional waivers for the purpose of mutual termination shortly after Seeler failed to make the team out of training camp.
