Flyers rebound at home, take out Avalanche 6-3 with strong effort

1. Sean Couturier

Hey, remember on Friday night when Sean Couturier had a bad game against Pittsburgh and then made one of the worst plays you’ll ever see him make in overtime to cost the Flyers a chance to win? No? Dope, me neither. Couturier looked like the guy we’ve seen all year once again tonight, particuarly on two beautiful passes to set up goals for Joel Farabee. Here is one of them!

Also, for the nerds, his line was the Flyers’ best play-driving line, as we’d expect them to be, but that deserves some extra commendation when he (and his line) spent about two-thirds of their time against the ever-so-dangerous Nathan MacKinnon line.
