In a carousel of moves, the Philadelphia Flyers roster is looking just ever so slightly different.
Announced by the team on Thursday morning, they have placed defenseman Jamie Drysdale on Injured Reserve after sustaining an upper-body injury. In turn, they have recalled fellow young, right-handed defenseman Ronnie Attard up from the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
In addition to the one-for-one swap of blueliners, we are also getting some action in the crease. After Cal Petersen put up his abysmal seven-goal display against the Pittsburgh Penguins and quickly got placed on waivers, he has been loaned down to the AHL and in his place as Sam Ersson’s backup, will be Felix Sandstrom.
