The fifth rounder is already proving the Flyers right early on in his season.
Teams aren’t always expected to find value when it comes to the later rounds of the draft. Sometimes you hit on those picks and sometimes this miss. That’s the gamble you play in those rounds. Right now, it’s looking like the Flyers hit when it comes to Elliot Desnoyers.
Desnoyers spent last season in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats. There he posted 11 goals and 35 points in 61 games.
