Aiming to ignite a two-game winning streak following a 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flyers faced off with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the first time of 2019-20. On the other end of things, Tampa was hoping to continue to be the NHL’s hottest team and earn their tenth-consecutive win with a victory over the Flyers. Carter Hart got the nod from Alain Vigneault between the pipes and opposed Andrei Vasilevskiy on the opposite side of the ice.
Overall, I thought the Flyers had one of their best periods of hockey this season in the first.
