Flyers looking to rebound quickly and make the most of back-to-back

A hot start by the Philadelphia Flyers was quickly extinguished last night. After 11 goals and 2 wins against Pittsburgh, the team played host to the Buffalo Sabres who were 0-2-0 coming into the matchup. What followed was a sloppy game from the home side that saw the Sabres wreak havoc.

The Flyers tried to negate the loss of Sean Couturier with hot prospect Morgan Frost and in the opening few minutes, things looked to be going swimmingly enough…until they weren’t. Former first-round pick Curtis Lazar struck first in the opening stanza, opening the floodgates for the Sabres.
