The NHL on NBC schedule was released today, and as usual the Philadelphia Flyers will be on the network quite a bit over the course of the regular season. Throughout the plethora of games NBC and NBCSN will show over the course of the season, the Orange and Black will be on one of the NBC networks for 17 of their 82 regular season games this season.
Games on Wednesday night will remain a key piece of the NBCSN routine, but it will be a little different (improved?) this season. Instead of Rivalry Night, where meetings between the Buffalo Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets were sure to Get The People Going, the network has decided to label it Star Power, where “established stars and young phenoms will take center stage.
