Hart, simply put, kept his team in the game all night long. He faced a barrage of shots and was hung out to dry on multiple occasions. He made many incredible saves in this game and it’s difficult to fault him on any of the Islanders’ goals. Without him the Flyers stand no chance of winning this game, he weathered the storm, and had arguably the biggest game of his career.
The man who has been the one stabalizing presence on the blue line all playoffs, fittingly is the man who wins the game.
