There have not been many bright spots to the season the Flyers have played so far. Sure, you can look at the emergence of Wade Allison, or maybe even Joel Farabee slaying the sophomore slump (for the most part). However, one of the top players on the roster all year long has been their captain, Claude Giroux.
Giroux never will be the high-powered goal scorer that fans want him to be. However, each night, you notice him playing with intensity. He’s constantly one of the only ones forechecking. Giroux is consistently a leader on the ice, and it’s very likely that he also is in the locker room.
