Meaningful hockey will be coming to a television screen near you very shortly. The Philadelphia Flyers will begin their quest to get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks in Prague for the 2019 NHL Global Series. This is the third straight year that the NHL will have regular-season games played in Europe and the first time the Flyers play abroad during that span. Philadelphia will aim for their fourth straight season-opening victory as they haven’t lost their first game of the year since 2015-16.
