Hailing from Omsk, Russia, Yaroslav Askarov stands at 6’3”, 176 lbs and across the platforms I’ve seen, is the only goaltender projected to go in the first round. He’s projected to be one of the best goaltending prospects since the likes of Andre Vasilevskiy and Carey Price, and has the track record to back up those comparisons. Let’s take a look:
