We’re closing out the top-20 of our draft board here, and we’re doing it by adding Rodion Amirov to the list. Amirov, a winger who bounced around between the professional and junior levels in Russia during his draft year, brings a strong offensive game and was able to put up pretty impressive numbers in his time in MHL. He’s also got a handful of games in the KHL under his belt already, and though his role was limited there, he showed some definite flashes already. There’s a lot to like here.
Oh, and as a fun coincidence, today’s his birthday too!
