OH HELL YEAH!

The Philadelphia Flyers have their first lead in a Stanley Cup Playoff series since the second round in 2012, and it’s all thanks to the man between the pipes, Carter Hart.

On the eve of his 22nd birthday, Hart out-dueled his childhood hero, Carey Price, stopping 27 of 28 Montreal Canadiens shots (25/25 at even-strength) to will the No. 1 seeded Flyers to a hard-fought game one victory.

Other youngsters stepped up, including newly-minted first-liner Joel Farabee, whose goal in the second period broke a tie that was only 16 seconds old following Shea Weber’s power play tally at with five-and-a-half minutes remaining in the middle frame.
