Anthony Stolarz is the latest Flyers goaltender to put Gritty on his mask

Standing on his head in his last start for the Philadelphia Flyers with a 38 save, shutout performance, goaltender Anthony Stolarz has now continued to cement his legacy by being the third net-minder this season to put Gritty on his mask.

If you don’t recall, former Flyers goalie Calvin Pickard was the first to do so, putting the orange mascot on one side of his protective helmet. He was then followed up by Mike McKenna, who had Gritty on the back of his mask with a little halo on top of his head.
