Anthony Salinitri and Frank Hora cut by Flyers

The Flyer announced this morning, per GM Ron Hextall, that left winger Anthony Salinitri and defenseman Frank Hora have been cut from the Flyers roster. The two participated in training camp over the weekend, but did not appear on the lineup for Sunday's preseason opener in New York.

Salinitri will head back down to juniors to rejoin the Sarnia Sting, while Hora, who signed an AHL contact with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in July, will report to them in Allentown.

These latest cuts bring the Flyers' roster down to 55 players. Practices will continue through the beginning of this week, before the squad splits to square off against the Islanders on Wednesday.
