Three Players The Philadelphia Eagles Should AVOID In The 1st Round Of The 2020 NFL Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles have been linked to a lot of great first-round prospects in the 2020 NFL draft including Henry Ruggs, Justin Jefferson and Denzel Mims. However, not every prospect is a fit for the Eagles scheme or needs. IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW, host Thomas Mott breaks down why the Eagles shouldn’t take these three players in the 1st round of the NFL Draft: C.J. Henderson from Florida, Jalen Reagor from TCU and K’Lavon Chaisson  from LSU

Eagles Rumors have linked Philly to Jalen Reagor from TCU if other WRs like Henry Ruggs and Justin Jefferson are not available. Reagor is undersized at 5ft 11in and his production greatly diminished his Senior season in Fort Worth. Philadelphia can find better WRs that better for the Eagles mold in later rounds of the Draft. Mott suggests targeting KJ Hamler in later rounds.

C.J Henderson might be the second cornerback off of the board in the NFL Draft, however, Philadelphia already has two cornerbacks in Avante Maddox and Sydney Jones who seem ready to start opposite of Darius Slay. If the Eagles do choose to target a DB in the NFL Draft, waiting until a later round and taking Lamar Jackson out of Nebraska makes more sense.
