Two important Philadelphia Eagles players will miss out on the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Chicago Bears Monday night.
The Eagles officially announced Saturday that both tight end Zach Ertz and cornerback Leodis McKelvin will miss the team’s trip to Chicago, leaving a couple big holes in the depth chart.
This will only be the second time Ertz has missed a game since being drafted in 2013. Along with Jordan Matthews, Ertz is one of Carson Wentz‘s favorite targets. With Ertz out of the lineup, the rookie quarterback will need to spread the ball around a little more.
