The NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2018 season will not be announced until 2/2/19, the eve of Super Bowl LIII. It’s too bad that the voting couldn’t wait for about 24 hours after that, though.
If the Eagles were to make the Super Bowl, I’d say that Nick Foles would realistically be the actual MVP! Alas, the voting will be long done and the award is supposed to go to the player who was most valuable to his team during the entirety of the 2018 season…not just the stretch run and postseason, no matter how amazing that would be.
