Winning football games in the National Football League is challenging and cannot be taken for granted.
Despite subpar performance from Eagles franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts, the 2024 Super Bowl MVP managed to make some history during Week 17. With an ugly 13-12 win against the Buffalo Bills, Hurts managed to cement himself in NFL lore once more.
According to ESPN's research team, the 2025 Eagles are the first team since the 1987 New England Patriots to win multiple games without completing a second-half pass. They further add that Hurts is the first quarterback in the play-by-play era (since 1978) to go zero for seven or worse on pass attempts multiple games in a season as well.
