It’s a true privilege for any NFL player to hold one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ active roster spots, because general manager Howie Roseman will continue tinkering as much as it takes to give the team its best chance to reach the Super Bowl.
At this point in the season, most roster transactions are low-level, like moving players on and off the practice squad.
This year’s Eagles team is unique, though, in that guys on the edges of the 53-man roster could find themselves watching games from their couch come mid-January. Fans should expect an uptick in roster movement at the start of the postseason, as practice squad players on non-playoff qualifiers become free agents and can be added as depth by contending teams.
