Still No Score After Three Quarters

On the opening drive, the offense went for it on fourth-and-7 at the Dallas 39 but quarterback Nick Foles’ pass attempt to wide receiver Torrey Smith fell incomplete. The Eagles defense responded with a fourth-down stop, shutting down Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott for a 2-yard loss on fourth-and-1.

With under five minutes remaining in the first quarter, Foles had his pass intended for wide receiver Alshon Jeffery intercepted by cornerback Chidobe Awuzie at the Dallas 48 yard-line.

Quarterback Nate Sudfeld checked into the game in the second quarter replacing Foles and completed his first NFL completion to wide receiver Nelson Agholor on a 4-yard pickup.
