Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been busy getting his practice squad all together and constructing the 53-man roster.
Entering the 2025 season, two position groups seem to have some questions surrounding them: edge rusher and safety. While the Eagles' projected starters, Jalyx Hunt and Nolan Smith Jr., should be solid, the backups are a question mark as to whether they will be adequate.
Safety is a whole other story. Reed Blankenship is the only player at safety for whom Eagles fans can be confident. Sydney Brown is a question mark as he hasn't really played many snaps under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's scheme.
