Ryan Mathews sidelined by concussion

Running back Ryan Mathews left the Eagles' 20-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday with a concussion.

Mathews' last play was a rush for no gain the third quarter. He finished the game with eight carries for 18 yards and a touchdown. He also had two catches for 22 yards.

Mathews and quarterback Sam Bradford were the two players injured in the loss. Wide receiver Jordan Matthews needed attention from the trainers in the fourth quarter, but he only had the wind knocked out of him.

Peters sits out again

Left tackle Jason Peters missed his second consecutive game with a back injury that is affecting his quadriceps.
