Here’s a controversial statement. If you remove the wide receivers and cornerbacks that have been taken during NFL Drafts that were overseen by Howie Roseman, the Philadelphia Eagles haven’t done that bad of a job at finding young talent. It isn’t perfect, but it isn’t a total tragedy either.
The unfortunate part of all of that is this. You can’t remove the wide receivers and cornerbacks from those drafts. It’s ridiculous to do so. The Eagles’ story can’t be told without including that detail. For whatever reason, this team just can’t find capable wide receivers and cover guys.
