Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Malik Jackson suffered a Lisfranc injury and will miss the rest of the 2019 NFL season, according to a report from NFL insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
This news was expected following Doug Pederson’s press conference on Monday. Pederson told reporters Jackson’s injury was “significant” and he couldn’t say if Jackson was going to be able to return in 2019.
The Eagles had big hopes for Jackson in 2019; there was a reason they signed him to three-year, $30 million contract in the offseason.
