According to Jay Glazer on a segment in today’s FOX NFL Sunday, the Eagles will indeed be retaining both Head Coach Doug Pederson and GM Howie Roseman.
Glazer states that Pederson is ‘going to have to make a bunch of chances on his staff’ and that Howie Roseman ‘is not on the hot seat’.
This news does come as a fairly eyebrow-raising surprise. The Eagles go into tonight’s week-17 matchup having been eliminated from the playoffs for the first time since 2016, with the Birds having won the Super Bowl one year later and made the playoffs on every occasion since.
