Mike Kaye, of NJ.com, confirms the report but adds it is for next week.
Freeman, 28, has been in the league since 2014. He spent one year with Rich Scangarello in Atlanta (2015). That year, he played in 15 games (started 13) and had his highest career yards per game average (70.
