According to Jimmy Kempski, the Eagles brought in a familiar face for a workout today. That man was Jordan Matthews and this should come as no surprise.
DeSean Jackson underwent surgery today and may be out for the remainder of the season and the struggles across the board at wide receiver have been well documented. Alshon and Agholor have been woeful at times this year, while the role-playing Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside have been invisible.
Believe it or not, Matthews averaged 15 yards per reception last year during his second stint with the Eagles and in my opinion, at least, showed just how far he’d come since his first rodeo.
