Recent Eagles cut lands on his feet within 24 hours thanks to Philly ties

Well, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman took a chance on cutting safety Tristin McCollum with the hopes that he could get McCollum back on the practice squad. McCollum will be traveling to the opposite side of the country instead.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the Las Vegas Raiders have claimed McCollum off waivers. McCollum was cut so that the Eagles could make room for offensive lineman Willie Lampkin, who Philly claimed from the Los Angeles Rams.

Raiders claimed safety Tristin McCollum on waivers from the Eagles, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.
