Well, that’s all she wrote for Timmy Jernigan’s short stint with the Philadelphia Eagles. Many expected it could happen, but either way, it was going to be a shocking move. We’re not sure if Howie Roseman and the Eagles attempted to re-structure Jernigan’s deal, but regardless of what went down, it looks like Jernigan’s days with the Eagles are going to be cut short.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Eagles are not open to picking up Timmy Jernigan’s 2019 option. Therefore, he will become a Free Agent in a couple of weeks when the league new year gets started.
