“No one likes us, we don’t care!” That was the tune of the 2017 Super Bowl run for the fans of the Philadelphia Eagles. For the longest time, the Philadelphia Eagles have had such an underdog reputation. The national media hates them. Other fan bases hate them. Heck, even other players on opposing teams legitimately hate the Eagles. It’s strange that it turned out this way, but in all reality, the Eagles fan base seems to embrace the heel image of the city/team.
Sometimes, it is tough to deal with the endless hate that the Eagles tend to pick up year after year, but at least in 2018 Eagles fans no longer have to hear about the franchise having no Super Bowl rings.
