Once upon a time a very wise man said that the San Francisco 49ers didn’t just wear gold as one of their team colors. They had actually created a “Gold Standard”. Okay, maybe it wasn’t a wise man. Come to think about It, that was actually said on one of those Maddenvideo games, but you get the idea. Here we are. It’s Week 8 of the 2017 NFL schedule, and the 49ers head east for a 1:00 PM meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles.
San Fran is a long way from that gold standard we just mentioned.
