There isn’t a Philadelphia Eagles fan that has to be reminded about what Week 6 means in the grand scheme of things. Their favorite football team heads to Minneapolis, Prince’s former home base, to face a team that wears his favorite color, the Minnesota Vikings.
Why is this game different? There are several reasons. One, after a strong showing by the Eagles over the past two weeks (and a Dallas Cowboys two-game losing streak), Philly sits in a two-team tie for the top spot in the NFC East.
Both teams, at minimum, would like for that to remain the case after the NFL’s slate of games for Week 6.
