Finding another star corner should be the Philadelphia Eagles’ focus early.
While the 2020 season was in full swing, one thing was made painfully clear each and every week. The Philadelphia Eagles‘ defense can’t compete when they face the star wideouts in the NFC. Even, and that was true even after they added cornerback Darius Slay. The Birds’ defensive backfield struggled to stop anybody.
Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, the front office has the chance to fix this problem. When studying the long list of cornerbacks in this year’s draft, Philly fans across the country have reason to be excited.
