Well, Dallas Goedert is, now, a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. When it was all said and done, ‘The Birds’ decided against making a selection at pick 32. Instead, they gave it to the Baltimore Ravens. In return, the received the 52nd pick. That deal also meant they’d receive the 125th pick in exchange for the 132nd as well as the Ravens second-round selection in 2019.
They weren’t done. On Day 2, they moved up three spots to 49. That gave the 52nd and 125th picks to the Indianapolis Colts. In the end, they got one of the guys they had their eyes on all along, Dallas Goedert, formerly of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
