If you haven’t learned anything else about the NFL this season, especially as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, it’s been this. The fastest route to success (and a possible playoff berth) is by dominating your division. Now, you’d rather do that by winning and not by barely surviving from week to week, but that’s how things are done.
That’s what made Andy Reid successful for all of those years. He took care of business against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, and New York Giants, and this season’s representative in the postseason from the NFC East will be whoever can take the divisional crown, or at least survive.
