After trimming their roster to the league-mandated 53 men and adding ten men to their practice squad, the Philadelphia Eagles had to be given credit for something. They had managed to hold on to just about everyone who was a key contributor during the preseason. They had a healthy mix of both draft picks and projects who were worth keeping around.
There were running back battles. When it was all said and done, Philly decided to keep both Corey Clement and Donnel Pumphrey. There were over abundances of talent at key spots, defensive end for example.
