It seems like this has been hanging over the Philadelphia Eagles and Michael Bennett for quite some time, but truthfully, it hasn’t been that long. On March 7th of this year, excitement found its’ way through Philly’s fan base as ‘The Birds’, who had already won their first Super Bowl, added one of the most talented pass rushers in the game.
The thanks for that one were owed to yet another shrewd business move by Eagles executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman. Then, seemingly, faster than you can say ‘Fly Eagles Fly’, we learned Bennett had been indicted on felony charges in Texas.
