For the most part, Monday was pretty quiet for the Philadelphia Eagles after the NFC East champions were busy last week with numerous key moves, highlighted by the trade that brought cornerback Darius Slay over from the Detroit Lions.
However, the Eagles did see a move take place from one of their rivals in the Washington Redskins involving Kyle Allen reuniting with Ron Rivera after the team agreed to acquire the quarterback from the Carolina Panthers.
At one point last season, Allen appeared to have a bright future with the Panthers while filling in for Cam Newton after winning four of his first five games under center, but unfortunately things would quickly go downhill for Carolina.
