Philadelphia Eagles: Hugh Douglas to enter Black College Football Hall of Fame

This past Wednesday seemed like it was just like any other for former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas. He pulled into the parking lot at Atlanta’s 92.9 The Game. He walked into the studio for his show, but it wasn’t until he’d start broadcasting that he’d get a call with some rather unexpected news.

The Black College Football Hall of Fame gave him a buzz to inform him he’d been added to their Class of 2019.

Douglas played his college ball for the Central State Marauders before being drafted in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
