At this point, there is no longer any logical reason as to why Derek Barnett should be on this football team. The Philadelphia Eagles, in 2017, took eight players in that year’s NFL Draft. Most of you know this already, but Barnett, the 14th player selected that year is the only remaining member of that Eagles draft class that’s still on this team.
There isn’t anyone who’s watched this team over the course of the past two years that can make a logical explanation as to why that’s the case. Ladies and gentlemen, this may be one of the biggest first-round busts that this team has ever had, and if we’re being honest, that’s saying a heck of a lot.
