At the time of this story being published, the Philadelphia Eagles have not picked up a veteran running back, and it is likely they are going to stand pat. They have some guys in the building who they trust for the 2020 season and some younger guys who they want to see compete for a roster spot and for playing time.
Miles Sanders is expected to be the lead back after growing tremendously in his rookie season. Without him, the playoff push would’ve been much more difficult. There’s also Boston Scott, who came off the practice squad and had a breakout season.
