The Philadelphia Eagles signed free agent offensive tackle Taylor Hart on Wednesday, according to an official announcement from the team.
Hart, as we all know, was originally a fifth-round pick by the Eagles in the 2014 NFL Draft. After failing to make an impact at defensive tackle in the first three seasons, Hart transitioned to offensive tackle during the 2017 offseason.
The move didn’t seem to be the worst idea. There was thought Hart was on the roster bubble heading into final roster cuts. Former Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich had praise for Hart.
