One night prior to the most recent Super Bowl, Chris Long took home the honor of being named the Walter Payton Man of the Year. As most know, it’s an annual award that recognizes an NFL star for his philanthropy. Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long was this year’s selection, but to be honest, and this isn’t to be disrespectful to any of the previous winners or anyone who may win that award in the future, you could probably handpick an Eagle every year.
No one would complain if you did, especially when you look at all of the great things these guys are doing.
